Getting the Best Deal on Auto Insurance :: Codes for Coupons

Getting the Best Deal on Auto Insurance Let your fingers do the walking... Remember that Yellow Pages Ad Campaign? Excellent advice if you're shopping for auto insurance. Shop around and do it yearly. Don't just keep paying the invoice over and over without comparison shopping. Below are a few suggestions to help you get the best deal available on your automobile insurance policy.
Insurance agents really have a lot of leeway. They can price match and they can offer many discounts. There are also many decisions you can make about your policy that will save you a bundle. For example, if you change your deductible on your collision from a $50 deductible to a $1000 deductible, you're inline for a huge premium savings. If you don't think you could come up with $1000 out of pocket, then change it to a $500 deductible; you'll still save a sizable amount on your annual premium payment.
You can also get more of a savings if you change your comprehensive deductible. Many people needlessly carry full coverage on their older vehicle. They originally purchased the vehicle new, paid for full coverage and to this day, continue to pay the same high rate. Their ten year old vehicle may be worth $1000 or less, yet they continue to pay $250-$450 every six months (total $500 to $900 dollars a year) to keep full coverage on their old vehicle.
However, if they have an accident and totaled their vehicle, the insurance company will only pay them the wholesale value of the vehicle. The amount they would receive could be $1000 or less. A vehicle that old just needs the insurance that protects the other person in case of an accident.
Another method to save more on your insurance is by combining your vehicles and other insurance together to get you additional savings. All insurance companies offer a multi-car discount (if yours doesn't, it's time to switch companies). Further, many will discount more if you have your homeowners or renters policy with them.
There are a few other discounts that you may not be taking advantage of. It seems obvious, but make sure you are getting the correct rate for your age. There are discounts for various ages than can save you lots of money. Check with your agent on this one. Also alarm systems on your vehicle are usually good for a discount. Additionally, anti-lock brakes and air bags can also help lower your premiums.
Don't just keep paying the invoice when it comes in. Your insurance bill should be an automatic trigger for you to make a few phone calls to see if you can save even more money on your auto insurance premiums.

Retailers: Are You Struggling to Create End-of-Season Displays? :: Codes for Coupons

Retailers: Are You Struggling to Create End-of-Season Displays?

I received an email recently that mentioned how difficult it is to create an inspiring display window at the end of a season.

Yes. It is difficult to come continually come up with new and inspiring ideas. Especially when you are not inspired yourself.

You're tired of the merchandise in your store that you have seen it every day for the past several weeks.

You're disappointed that a product you anticipated would be a hot seller, is still sitting on the shelves.

You're frustrated by the dwindling product selection, making it difficult to create a dynamic display.

You're attitude is like a virus. You don't realize it, but your customers will catch it.

You need to be excited by what you sell.

As a retailer, that is what you do. Your job is to present merchandise in a way that inspires and attracts. You need to make each product in your store desirable. You need to infect shoppers with your enthusiasm.

1. Change your perception.

Do you see that product sitting on the shelf as a leftover that no one wanted? Or is it an undiscovered gem that is waiting to be found by the right person?

You need to make that gem shine. You need to find that person who is looking for what you have to offer.

2. Present the product well.

It may be that the merchandise hasn't sold because of the presentation. Create a dazzling display with complimentary merchandise, if you can. Of course, that is part of the problem to begin with. It is hard to find enough merchandise that looks good together when some of it has sold.

Maybe one product, featured on its own, can make a strong display. With great signage and great lighting it could work very well.

Instead of other merchandise, perhaps you can find props that would help tell a story with your product.

There are lots of options - the trick is to get creative. Which brings us to the next point.

3. Get inspired. Look for new ideas.

It's easy to get tired of dealing with the same space and merchandise day in and day out. It can get hard to come up with new ideas.

It's time for YOU to go out shopping. Shopping for ideas. Take a walk at lunch, or after work. Take a look at what other stores are doing. What is new and exciting? What colours are being used?

Browse some magazines. How are products arranged for ads? What trends are you seeing?

It is part of your job to stay in touch with what is happening around you. Really, that is what you are selling - not just a product, but an idea. You're selling a feeling, a mood that your product embodies.

You need to be inspired to inspire your customers.

4. Get something new. Fast.

When I worked in retail stores, I learned that one of the best things you can do to keep customers engaged is to always have something new arriving.

Don't just buy all your merchandise a few times a year. Keep a few new things coming in every few weeks. This is especially true for any kind of fashion merchandise.

5. Move the old stuff out.

You need to turn merchandise quickly. Product that hangs on the rack, or sits on the shelf, is money that could be re-invested in something new.

Put the merchandise in a prominent position. Mark it down. Create a sales contest or special promotion.

Just do whatever you have to do to move the old product out.

The worst thing you can do is to allow yourself to lose motivation at the end of the season. Don't just move the products you are tired of to a corner and forget about them.

Instead, get excited about what you have to offer. Your customers will sense it and feel the same. Better yet - throw a party and invite them to join you!"

Bargain Shopping to Lower Your Family Expenses :: Amazing Values!

Bargain Shopping to Lower Your Family Expenses

Moms love to find great deals right? The frugal side of me is always pondering on how I can save the family money each month. If you sit down and see how much you spend on your phone bill, clothes, grocery bill and entertainment, the number may actually leave you with your mouth open. Make it your goal each month to find ways on how you can save in each of these categories.

If you have family long distance, your phone bill is probably reaching high numbers each month. The best way that I save our family each month is going with VOIP (Voice Over Internet Phone). You get unlimited long distance each month and all the bells and whistles that come with your regular landline phone. Most average prices for VOIP are around 25.00 each month. We cut our phone bill in half by just using VOIP each month.

Daily bargain lurking through sites is always high on my priorities when I am shopping for the kids clothes. I not only lurk on bargain shopping online stores, but I also love to window shop at the Tanger Outlets http://www.tangeroutlets.com which are located throughout the United States. First and foremost, remember to buy the clothes off-season. For example, buy your winter clothes just as the spring and summer seasons are coming in. The clothes are always clearance at the end of the season. Most prices you will get at a steal such as 70% off regular prices. If the children are in dire need of specific clothing or are growing faster than anticipated, then use the online shopping sites to your advantage. Before you click the submit button on your purchase, do the two following things:

1) Go to Current Codes at http://www.currentcodes.com to find the latest discount code for that specific store.
2) Visit http://www.fatwallet.com to make sure there are no big specials going on at another store for that same item.

Make sure you sign up for newsletters or the companys mailing advertisement, so you can be up to date each month on the big sales.

Grocery Bills can literally eat at our heart when the cashier gives us the total. What can you do to get the price down? Use Coupons, Coupons and more Coupons. Make a habit of getting the Sunday paper every week and cut out the coupons. Get a coupon organizer so you can separate the coupons into categories. This will make it easier when you are shopping and can just pull the coupon right out for the cashier. Also each week the grocery store ads will come in the mail, sit down and figure out with your coupons which store is having the better sale.

So we know how to save on necessities now, but what about family time? You do not have to make family time expensive each week. Set aside money for one weekend out of a month to do something special as a family. The rest of the weeks plan family time frugally. Some ideas that our family does is having special family nights such as game night, having a picnic night, movie night with pizza or just a good time spending the night acting like a child with my children. My husband and I get out in the yard and slide down the slide with the children, play a game of basketball or bring back the old fashion games such as the sack tater race. There are always laughs and smiles with all these different nights. Your child will also enjoy any of these nights just as much as if you spent 100.00 on a family outing.

If you really sit down and put your mind to thinking about each of your expenses, you can think of ways to save the family more money each month. Put the above tips to work in your household and watch your expense budget actually start shrinking. Happy Bargain Hunting!!
